Two methods to get Cataz running on your Amazon Fire TV Stick — browser (easiest) or APK sideload (best performance). Works on all Firestick generations.
Use the built-in Silk Browser to stream Cataz directly. Zero setup, no sideloading. Best for casual users. Minor performance trade-off vs native app.
Install the Cataz APK via Downloader app. Native app experience with better video performance. Requires enabling Developer Options.
No developer options or APKs needed. Just use the browser that comes pre-installed on every Firestick.
From your Firestick home screen, press the search icon and type Silk Browser. Open it. If not installed, find it in the Amazon Appstore for free.
In the Silk address bar, type cataz.to and press Go. The full Cataz library loads in desktop mode. For better navigation, enable Desktop View in Silk's settings menu.
Use the Firestick remote's navigation to search for any movie or show. Select a server link and playback starts in Silk's built-in video player. For best quality, choose the server labeled HD or 1080p.
In Silk, tap the star icon to bookmark cataz.to. Next time, open Silk → Bookmarks → Cataz. Takes 3 seconds from Fire TV home to streaming.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Toggle "Apps from Unknown Sources" to ON. This allows APKs from outside the Amazon store.
Search for Downloader in the Amazon Appstore and install it. It's free and is the standard tool for sideloading APKs on Fire TV.
Open Downloader, tap the URL bar, and enter the Cataz APK URL from cataz.to. The APK will download to your Firestick. Verify the download size is in the 8–15 MB range.
Once downloaded, Downloader will prompt you to install the APK. Tap Install, wait for completion, then tap Open. The Cataz app appears in your Firestick's app list under Your Apps & Channels.
Cataz offers multiple stream servers per title. If one buffers, go back and select a different server (usually labeled Server 2, Server 3, etc.).
Go to Firestick Settings → Network → select your Wi-Fi → Advanced. Set DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) for faster resolution and to bypass ISP blocks.
Install a VPN app on your Firestick (NordVPN and ExpressVPN are on the Appstore). A VPN bypasses ISP throttling that can cause buffering on free streaming sites.
Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → Silk Browser → Clear Cache. Do this monthly for best browser streaming performance.
The Silk Browser method: open Silk, go to cataz.to, and stream. No developer options or APK needed. It takes under 2 minutes and works on every Firestick generation.
Yes. The Cataz APK works on Fire TV Stick Gen 2 and later (2016+). Enable Apps from Unknown Sources and use the Downloader app to sideload the APK from cataz.to.
Yes. Firefox for Fire TV is available on the Amazon Appstore. Many users prefer it for streaming because it supports extensions including uBlock Origin, which improves Cataz performance.
Try switching to a mirror domain (cataz.homes or cataz.sbs), change your DNS to 1.1.1.1, or use a VPN app. See our full Cataz Not Working guide for all fixes.
